Subject: New Publication Announcement: Semi-empirical formula for the ionization energy of helium–like ions
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to share that my latest research paper, titled "Semi-empirical formula for the ionization energy of helium–like ions," has been published in the International Journal of Current Science (IJCSPUB), Vol. 16, Issue 4, October 2026.
This work extends the structural principles of the Bohr model to analyze the factors influencing the ionization energy of hydrogen and helium-like ions. It provides a theoretical framework explaining the instability of a hydrogen atom with two 1s electrons, derives a semi-empirical formula for helium-like systems, and compares predicted values against practical ionization metrics.
