Theoretical Research on the nature of Elementary particles
The Radius of the elementary particles Both energy and matter are interchangeable. In pair production a particle and its antiparticle are solidified, depending upon the availability of energy. In the reverse process of total annihilation , a particle and its counterpart are exchanged into it equivalent energy. In such interchangeable reaction , the energy is usually in the form of electromagnetic radiation. Since the process of formation is same for all kind of particles, the density of condensed matter within the particle must be same. With this assumption the radius of elementary particles are determined and compared with that of the electron. ---------------------------------------------------------- particle mass radius (m electron = 1) (in terms of electron) ------------------------------------------------------------ muon 207 5.925 neutral pion 264 6.421 charged pion 273 6.485 charged kaon 966 9.885 neutral kaon 975 9.915 proton 1836 12.245 neutron 1838 12.250 lambda hyperon 2182 12.975 sigma hyperon 2340 13.276 xi hyperon 2582 13.720 ------------------------------------------------------- Dr.M.Meyyappan, Thavakkai Academy of Creative Thinking and Skill Development
